Roger Stephens, THE DADDY TO US ALL, most of the time he would rather be fishing... Roger passed away 2/4/09 Sadly missed by co-workers and customers alike. Roger was one of a kind and he left us with countless memories, he will never be forgotten.

Ryan Nichter of Nichter Construction and his son Henry. Ryan brought Henry to

Bear Hardware to be fitted for his first pair of Carhartt bibs. Sadly Ryan passed away later in the year. Ryan was a frequent customer at Bear Hardware and his sunny disposition is greatly missed.

Curt's brother, Barry Scroggins was murdered when he interupted a burglary at his home in August of 1991. Curt and Barry worked together at Kliendorfer's Hardware. After Barry's murder Curt left Kliendorfer's. Then in 1999 Curt purchased Cook's Hardware in Nashville. Curt renamed Cook's Hardware to Bear Hardware. Bear was a nickname he had for Barry. Bear Hardware is dedicated to Barry Scroggins. Barry was taken at the young age of 23 and never really got to live his life. I often wonder how different all our lifes would have been if he was still with us. Barry's memory lives on in our hearts always

David Earl Moore was Murdered in his driveway the afternoon of March 25th 2010. To say Dave is missed is a huge understatement. Dave had a way of touching peoples lives and making a real difference everywhere he went. Dave was a huge part of Bear Hardware, he worked there part time for many years and helped Curt and Penny countless times during the growth of Bear Hardware, even helping when we didn't think we needed help! His memory will live on in our hearts forever, because he was such a huge part of our lifes.
