Midweight Quilt - Durable smooth nylon taffeta with resilient polyester batting delivers warmth without bulk for outer layering in moderate conditions. Blanket - Non-Bulky acrylic/polyester blended to provide a layer of warmth on those cold mornings. Thermal - 100% polyester raschel knit adds an extra layer of comfort and warmth in cool weather.

Carhartt Flame-Resistant clothing is designed for electricians and workers in the utility, oil, gas and petrochemical fields who are at risk of being exposed to electric arcs and flash fires, which could cause severe or fatal burn injuries. Our flame-resistant clothing meets the following standards: ASTM F1506, NFPA-70E and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.269.

Many of our garments are water repellant. Carhartt traditional garments are produced from the duck fabric and are treated to provide water repellancy. However, after one to three washings, the fabric must be retreated. There are a number of products on the market you can use to do this. They can be purchased at a local hardware store. Follow the insructions on the bottle when applying.

What is the difference between Brown Duck and Sandstone?

Brown Duck is a tightly woven canvas fabric made of 100% ring-spun cotton. Sandstone is the very same fabric that has been treated using a process called micro-sanding that results in a much softer hand or almost a brushed look to the fabric.
